Spending time in the Wild West

A few weeks ago we got to be a part of a great new offroad event called Wild West. The event was held along the dusty trails in and around the ghost town of Gold Point, NV. Gold Point is a living ghost town. There are a few residents there and they enjoy a totally different way of life.
This event was all about getting out and exploring what the gold rush left us. It would probably take you all day to count the number of mines in this area. We got to visit ruins at Stateline, Oriental Wash, Mohawk, Blair, Silver Peak and more. We saw gold mines, silver mines, and even lithium mines. Yes, the stuff that is in our batteries.
There is so much history in those hills. We can’t wait for Wild West 2017!
Obviously along the way we got some amazing photos!
